I had a hard time with this book. It was too different from the first two and the character of Mara just didn't seem like her at all. She seemed too uncaring and terrible and then suddenly she is sweet again? I don't think it would be like that. There are too many holes in this story that don't make sense honestly. Also, the book didn't have Noah in it really until the last 150 pages or so. I didn't like that. haha. The ending was nice and all, but the story at as a whole was weak. Basically Mara wakes up at Horizons on the island and she actually is going to sort of trust Jude when she hated him beyond anything and feared him. She needs to find Noah because she senses he is alive and she wants to find him so she can understand what has been happening to her. Granted I do like that she was finding herself without being so dependent on him in the story, but I just found her character to be terribly developed in this book alone.
