Cassie Phillips and Will Tolliver was not really married, no matter what he told people. Will was a kind and thoughtful man and Cassie was the kind of girl you took home to mother. But even Will would abandon her once he learned what she was running from. Will never expected in order to protect her he'd have to tell a lie that could get them both in a lot of trouble. Especially if he could'nt convince Cassie that marrying him was the right thing to do.
