I wanted to like this book, truly. Having read the first book and love it, that much passion and intensity. Then I get to this book and there is no intensity. The heroine talks about how much she cares and in lust with Sev, meanwhile Sev is trying to stay cool and detached and deal with November 12, nikolai's death and his mom not wanting to be in his life but wants what his money can provide her. I understood Sev's story and could feel hi spain. Naomi on the other hand just whines and blames Sev for not feeling the same or not behaving the way she expects him too. I did love the ending when he and Daniil see each other and of course the return of Nikolai. To be honest I'm reading this quartet for the men's story. Anxiously waiting Nikolai's and Romeo's stories!!
