I originally purchased this book for the check lists. Based on popular standardized tests, the author breaks down by subject and grade level what the standardized tests expect a student to know (through grade 8).
The real treasure, however, is in the first half of the book, in which the author examines the models our public schools are based on and challenges the reader to choose carefully what model to base her own homeschool on.
