It's a tie between Garth and Dana's story and Izzy and Nick's story as my favorites in the Lone Star Series. I was upset with Garth in Straight from the Hip because of what he did to Nick and Izzy, but he redeemed himself in Hot on her Heels. I found myself rooting for him and feeling sympathy for his situation. Izzy was great in her determination to bring Garth into the family, which was very admirable after his behavior in the beginning. Absolutely worth the read.
