An ex. policeman and a policewoman - I like him. Her? Too much by the book. This story deals with women being trafficked and they have been chosen because of being brave enough to have stood up in court and testified against criminals. The ex military ex policeman gets the job done. The policewoman gets tied up with protocol and rules, sometimes her fault, sometimes from above her. In the end, his way saves the day and he lets her have all the credit. It works for him to be out of the limelight. Now he wonders if they still have a chance at a relationship. Good story.
