Barmaid Sookie Stackhouse is nervous when the Weres and shifters reveal themselves to the world. But the reveal seems to go smoothly, until a werepanther that Sookie knows is murdered. Determined to find out who is responsible for the murder, Sookie runs into another danger. The Faeries are preparing for war. Now Sookie finds herself a target in their battle.

This was a great addition to the series. It was much more cohesive than the last book and flows well. We have the murder of a supernatural with lots of suspects. Then, the faeries step in and Sookie has to watch her back. Eric and Bill both play important roles in this book. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
