This book, The Shadow Within, is book two in the âLegends of the Guardian-King' series by Karen Hancock, and a wonderful addition to the series, definitely living up to the excellent standard of âLight of Eidon'. The story picks up with Abramm and Trap fighting a sea monster, and remains exciting all the way through. Abramm has decided to claim the crown of Kiriath, but his brother is not willing to give it up without a fight. I couldn't put it down. Highly recommended!
