I love historical erotica - it caters to a very specific taste, not for everyone. This reads like a Victorian novel, even though the exact time frame is not set. Camille is the rightful heir to the duchy, but she has not had a child in 20 years of marriage, so her husband is ready to replace her. She flees, with her loyal servants, to an old friend who protects her while she plots to return to power. During that trip, we are treated to many, many kinds of sexual congress. I found it fascinating, but, as I said before, not everyone likes this kind of book. To each his own
