This gothic romance/suspense is about a woman who is hired to care for a child who no one seems to want to handle. He has become a handful after the mysterious death of his mother. His father is hardly ever around and his mother's family supsects that the father had something to do with the death. Marva finds herself on a vacation of sorts with the child conveniently at the same chateau in the mountains where his mother died...and lo and behold! his father shows up.
It's a very thrilling and page turning mystery. Very interesting and a nice quick read.
