2nd in the Primrose Creek Novels. Christy and her sister Megan, return from England, broke. They are going to claim their share of the property left to them and their cousins by their grandfather. Christy is determined to marry well so her and her sister will be taken care of. Problem is she meets the town sheriff Zachary Shaw and he has plans for himself and Christy and tbey do not include her marrying the wealthest man in town who also happens to be Zachary's best friend
