This kept me guessing right up to the end (and afterwards). The mystery of a disappearing alleyway, and visions of past and future events witnessed by people inside a house in the passage seemed to be explained only by paranormal means. But it all is explained (with diagrams) and (sort of) makes sense, although it's one of Halter's more convoluted tales (and that's saying something.) A fun, quick read.
