I am touched by your wife's enthusiasm for my books.
And I can put her out of her misery. 'The Christmas Crimes at Rhyddal Hall'
was indeed commissioned as a sequel to 'The Christmas Crimes at Puzzel
Manor' but never written. I was so angry about the way the publishers
handled the first book - not getting a volume with the word 'Christmas' in
the title into the books shops until January - that I paid back the advance
and cancelled the contract on the second one.
The title must linger on in some listings somewhere, but you can tell your
wife to cease searching.
