This is a PERFECT summer read! This novel reminded me of Morison's Beloved (subject matter/themes) and Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird (voice). This books speaks volumes on matters such as gender, religion, and race all in a very quick enjoyable novel. Would definitely recommend this book to women everywhere and would like to see this novel on library and school bookshelves for a long time to come.
