Having suffered from severe PPD I was glad that Brooke shared her experiences with this illness. This is a subject that isn't talked about nearly enough! One in ten women will experience severe post partum depression yet less than half get proper treatment for it in a timely manner. This is a life shattering health issue that is managed & overcome with proper medications and talk therapy. However, the sooner treatment is sought, the sooner healing can begin.

Anyone who has ever suffered from PPD, is expecting a child or is thinking of conceiving should read this book!
