If you liked the recent movie "Taken" you will enjoy this book. These are the true accounts of young girls and women that are either willingly drawn to slavery situations or in most cases are sold by their poor families. Most of the short stories occurred in the 90's and I would guess that the world slavery situation has not improved and is probably even worse now. Human trafficking is real and happening under our noses. The women and children lured into the situations in this book are poor and looking for opportunities for a better life only to experience hell on earth. The sad part is that the perpertrators of these crimes are seldom severly punished, even though they ruin so many young lives. This book is a very quick read. The last story of the willing slave is rather disgusting and makes you wonder why some people just aren't 'right in the head".
