The Book Preface Says: Using John 10 the Scriptures are explained from the standpoint of one who has been a sheep owner and sheep rancher. But beyond this they are examined by one who has enjoyed whe care and companionship of the Good Shepherd, Chirst our Lord, for many years.

I Say: W. Phillip Keller is one of my favorite authors. He began as a shepherd with experience in both South Africa and the USA - the Lord helped him to combine this experience with how we as Christ's sheep are cared for by the Great Shepherd. His books are simple, profound, interesting, challenging, and full of shepherding, Shepherding, and Bible truths. This particular book was written as a companion to Keller's 'A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23'. But 'A Shepherd Looks at the Good Shepherd and His Sheep' can be read on its own. It's a can't-put-it-down typed of book that will bless and challenge you.
