If you like comic books, where the superheroes fly around trying to destroy the villains, who also have superpowers, both of whom are churning up the landscape, destroying buildings and people and most of the dialogue is inane, then you'll really like this book.

Thank God the author didn't carry this series further than two books.

Tom Clancy had a reputation for going overboard with the technical details in his books. This author has several degrees in scientific areas and makes Clancy's use of bewildering details look mild.
