What a delightful read. Melody Carlson has not only a gift with words but also a gift with sharing experiences that are very real. In this book we come to know intimately a young man & the prejudices that follow him wherever he goes. We also come to know intimately an old lady who also deals with prejudices of another kind. How their lives are knit together is a wonderful adventure worth taking with them.
