The Children's Home by Charles Lambert exists somewhere between fairly tale and horror story with one disfigured man; one mysterious housekeeper; one doctor; many children who appear out of nowhere; and one factory. The writing and the details of this story keep me reading, but unfortunately I feel as if I missed the point on this book. I don't really know what the book was about.
