While, like another reviewer, I had gotten to the point where I was not reading books about the Amish regularly because of the recent onslaught of these titles, I found this one new and refreshing and something to look forward to.

Perhaps it was my love of music that made this story more captivating, but I also liked the way the author let us see the characters as lovable and OK as long as they loved God whether they chose the Amish way or not.

I also enjoyed the two point perspective of seeing the relationship through Michael's eyes as well as Amelia's. I fell in love with this young couple and hope they'll play a large part in Joanna's story when it comes out later this year, as she did in their story.

Highly recommended!
