I found this book to be one of the best romances I've read recently. Sharply intelligent and the sex scenes unusually plentiful for a Hunter novel. The hero, Kyle Bradwell, was a true "hero" and the heroine's journey from a totally degraded woman (the book opens with a pretty brutal scene) to someone convinced of her own self-worth was touching and convincing. Hunter's novels can sometimes be unusually wordy (even a bit boring) and focused on non-romantic issues but this book doesn't have those problems. If it weren't for a somewhat anti-climactic final chapter I would have graded it five stars.
