Dante Costello needs Matilda Hamilton. He needs her to build a healing garden for his distraught daughter; he needs her to believe in him and soothe his guilt; he needs her to break through his defenses and teach him about trusting, sharing, giving and love. While Matilda needs Dante to teach her to be a woman again and to love her for herself.

This story moved quickly from flawed, hurting characters to refortified, determined heroes.
