#2 Cassandra Shipton and friends mystery featuring the circle of five Wiccan women in Massachusetts. This time, Deidre becomes concerned when a playmate of her daughter's disappears without warningâwhen investigated, it turns out the whole family's gone. The father was a financial counselor who was about to be investigated for fraud, so did they just scarper off to Mexico as many seem to think? Cass's vision tells her noâthat and the practical observation that the wife didn't take her purse and left the iron plugged in. Once again the circle is drawn into using their gifts to find the culprit. The mystery wasn't much of a mystery and was solved about halfway through, but this is more of a story about the group of women than anything. I'm beginning to really love this series.
