This is a wonderful book that clearly illustrates that money does not make one happy -- and may even take away happiness. I loved the book -- and the illustrations by Oki Han.
The story takes place in a small Chinese village and features a rich man and his wife who are not happy and a poor man and his wife who are sated on life and very happy. And shows what happens when the rich man gives the poor man a fortune.
