This is a good series which deals with American history from the dawn of the century through the 20th century. The characters seem real and the real historical characters are well done and seem real. This whole series is currently listed as available and the books are in good shape. It has been like re-living my lifetime to read them. I think many of you my age (81) will find this a really good walk down history's lane. I especially liked the book dealing with the Cold War and the l950 era. It took me right back to some really good years. To this day I still prefer "rock and roll" and try to dance each time I hear one of the "oldies". The author "nailed" the l950 era. Genny
