This book started off a little slowly, but the more I read, the more I enjoyed it. The town of Acorn Hill is in turmoil over plans to destroy Fairy Pond and build a gas station and convenience store. The usually peaceful town is divided - those who would like to see some progress and those who don't want change. Good story!
