I enjoyed this book, but with this author's previous books, I felt like I couldn't put the books down and found myself staying up very late just to finish them, not so with this one. This book didn't read as quickly as her others and while I understand that the time frame and Christian values call for the husband to be the head of the household, the "you will do as you have been told, wife" got a little old. Overall, a good book.
