Gripping scientific thriller - based on the real Spanish Flu, a hideous virus that killed over twenty million people in 1918. "The First Horseman" brings together two of humanity's biggest threats: man-made plague and well financed cult.

Frank Daley, Washington Post reporter wants to cover a story of a lifetime - a scientific crew is going to unearth bodies buried on an island in the Artic, to determine if they died from Spanish Flu in 1918, hoping to get biological samples of the virus. He is unable to join them, but when they come back they are fearful of something and do not want to talk about the mission. . . . the investigation is on, and secrets are uncover, deadly secrets . . .

A real page turner - enjoyed every word.
