A great story and I loved it. Can't wait for book two to be published. There was an event that happened in this book that wasn't resolved. When I finished reading, I wondered why and then there was a short excerpt of the next story 'The Scandal in Kissing an Heir' that I now know will answer all questions about the mysterious event.

I enjoyed the characters, Lord Anthony, Duke of Kingsborough and Isabella Chilcott. Miss Barnes has a talent for building likeable and loveable characters. The book has some sexy parts but the don't over the story. The plot and character back stories are interesting, well-developed and wrapped up nicely.

There were some other characters in the book that deserve their own stories, but so far the author is only showing 3 books in the series. Maybe a novella for one or two? We can only hope. I highly recommend this book to all readers who enjoy historical romances...even those who have never tried the genre...here's your chance to read a good book!

I give it 4 stars!
