Verbena is my introduction to this author and I am very impressed with her writing style. Verbena is such a strong woman with a loving family who sticks together after much hardship. There were so many characters in this story and none of them were lost as the story unfolded. Verbena was so strong and I loved her children. This story was just so real, very plausible with high times and low times...happiness and heartache. I was truly touched by this story.
