like all of Marsha Canham's books it was a fantastic read about a long ago time of knights and valour crusades and scoundrels wo lose in the end and a returned king home safe after ransom paid and the love between two lost souls who find the future a time to go on forever together hard to put down though you know how it will end the twists and turns are well worth the reading enjoy
