I am usually a fan of Connie Mason, but have to say her newest book is a HUGE disappointment.
I found it hard to connect with the characters, and the story very formulaic. I knew what would happen very early on in the book. The love story did not seem to be very strong, and very lukewarm, very little emotion seemed accompany their journey to find love, to support what she intimates in their internal dialogue.
The conflicts between three other characters and the hero and heroine had promise, but were unsatisfactorily ended. I hesitate to say they were resolved, since it felt that they were abandonded in the story line, to end the book within the contracted number of words/pages. For me it was definitely forgetable, and not worth reading.
