My heart breaks for things that use to be
I feel as if my insides are turning out
Why can't I just keep on smiling
Why can't I do this alone

I use to think that I could do anything
I use to think that nothing could touch me
Now I know better and I hate this feeling
I want to be able to do this alone

I realalize now that I can't do this alone
Will someone step up and help me through this pain
I miss him and I can't quit crying
I can't do this alone, will someone please help me?

You tore my heart out and now my life is bleak
I hope that one day I will be happy again
The sadness claims me and will not let go
I can't do this alone

My heart breaks for things that use to be
I feel as if my insides are turning out
Why can't I just keep on smiling
Why can't I do this alone

Crystal, I have read some of your poems but this is one that you have not shown me before. Please try to remember that you are not alone. You have all of your family plus me and a lot of friends who care for you. All you have to do is turn around and as for help. This poem is deep and you do have a way with the way you worded it.
