  He isn't here
He has left me
He slips in between my fingers
But you that reside
Ask me why
I love him aside from all the damage
Thoughts of him flood my mind
I can't seem to forget him
Or all the kisses he's stolen

He isn't here
He's not coming back
And I won't find him in your arms
It'd be stupid, you know,
To pretend to love you
All the while thinking of him
Tonight, I'll make an excuse
I want to forget him
Help me get rid of this feeling

And if I drown you in lust,
Will the night go by faster?
I don't know
I can't make it on my own
Stay with me
And fill this empty space

He isn't here
He left without a good-bye
Tearing my heart into pieces
He has most likely forgotten me
And lured another into his arms
I can only whisper his name
I seem to forget my own
Who will keep me from falling?

And if I drown you in lust,
Will the night go by faster?
I don't know
I can't make it on my own
Stay with me
And fill this empty space

I know it's hard for you to understand
But I just can't forget
I think its common sense:
The more I try to escape
The closer he pulls me in

I'll stay with you for awhile
But when the time comes
You'll lose me forever

And if I drown you in lust,
Will you know
How much his absence kills me?
I won't find in your arms, the taste
Of all the kisses he's taken
If I lose myself in your touch
Will you know
That he's the sole possessor of my heart?
I won't find in your arms, the taste
Of all the kisses he's stolen.
