A bright spot in the distance
i slowly approach
It is fire
the fear of being burned keeps me away
i edge closer there is someone
he is there at the center of the flames
HE Calls to me,
I whisper
i am alone,so alone
i do not wish to go nearer
with calm serinity he coaxes me closer.
We almost touch
the flames begin to spring forth
they grow stronger hotter
they return to placidness
Then he is gone I call to him
Silence greets me
I am alone again
I rush from the flames
never to return

Very nice; speaks to the all-consuming (and sometimes downright destructive) power of love. Reminds me a little of one I posted here a short while ago called "He's like the Wind"
