This poem describes a “healing garden” visited by my garden club:

In The Garden

Chickens chirping
Insects buzzing
Birds calling
Silence beyond

Orange trees full of fat globes
Lavender abundant
Herbs, plants and flowers
Earth and heat
Blended fragrance

Green in many shapes
Spots, dashes, clumps of color
Orange, yellow, pink, purple
Shades and shadows
Hazy hills falsely remote

Hot sun warms and releases
Cool shade shelters and comforts

Here in the garden

Sounds nice. Quite a variety, yet it sounds like everything is kind of muted, so it would be a really good place to go to relax. A place to come up with some good philosophy!

lovely poem...evocative in a humble, organic way

I can almost smell the blossoms, I like your descriptive ways.
