  I lost myself saving you
The breath you breathe is well worth the loss of me

As I watch you heal and grow each day
I wonder if anyone can see me dying
The pain the guilt the fear inside
Hidden by the smile outside

All is good the people say
The boy is strong and the wounds are gone
You are a hero not just a mother
All is good and in the past

Yet everyday I see that moment
The pain, the fear, the ache of love
The force that tried to take you away
But not strong enough to fight a mothers love

Fifteen years wasn't enough
I gave my soul to watch you grow

That was heart-achingly beautiful. It makes me wonder what happened to the boy in the past. To love someone more than you love yourself is a wonderful feeling. To give of yourself for them. Good job Tammie
