  What light.
What light you bring
Into the caverns of my life.
In darkest silence
Did I dwell

Until…
Until you set candles
To the pane
Echoing glows retained
Your love was never so restrained.

Set free.
Set free the heart
That holds your slumbering longings
As embers on bark
Tiny spark

Of hope.
To hope that what may be
Travels swiftly
On Time’s winded arrows
A haunted kiss that passed too fast

As if…
As if fate
Cast paradox in memory
Within a hopeful
Epilogue

What then?
What then unbroken test
Of waiting souls
Eager for destined taste
Who wonder if they came too late?

Untimed…
Untimed chiming
Of the Furies’ forgotten bell
‘Gainst words unspoken
Before Hell.

We spoke…
We spoke words promising
Resolution
Unbound anger restrained
To celebrate the Circle’s fate.

Revoke!
Revoke the words!
Unchanted melodies repelled
Until Past’s pain lies
Unrevealed.

Dare not
Dare not breathe of what once
Drew sustenance
Other times, other lives
Now unlived, among other lies.
