Spoken Word

Thinking about words
is nothing but
thinking about words.
From the saliva of our cavernous mouths
drip tenacious rivulets of
poisoned malcontent
or granular pearls of
newly formed beauty
hidden in the soft pink shells
of our rumbling bellies
crying,
words! words feed me
words of
Unspeakable grace!
