Hello, I am looking for a book. Please help me find it! If you Tell me the right book I will give you 10 credits. Now I will have to order this book and make sure that it is the correct one. Now what can I tell you about this book?

It?s a historical set in America during slavery days. I read it in 1994 but do not know when it was published. Fabio is on the cover but he is wearing a wig, the lady is on it also.

The Story: The H is out of town and come back from his hotel room drunk . There is a girl in his bed. He thinks that his friends bought her so he sleeps with her. He forgets all about her once he leaves the hotel room.

The h is running away from a evil family member and rents a room in the hotel. Some how she ends up in the H room. She of course tells him no and all that but it don?t work. She then somehow ends up a indented servant on the H plantation.

The H is back home and is busy sleeping with the evil lady on the next plantation (I will call her E) He see the h talking outside with one of the workers and is jealous (he is having sex in the window with E and the h see them).

well, darn. I dont think I'm gonna get this one. Heroes nailing some unknown woman found in his bed is instant wallbanger territory for me so I avoid those.

The only american historical I know with that is FIRST LOVE, WILD LOVE by Janelle Taylor but dont think its set on a plantation. I DNF it so I dont know.

If this goes unsolved after a few days, let me know if u are 100% sure that Fabio is on the cover and I'll think about it some more.

Kadesia, I'm so sorry about your sight.  I've read many bodice rippers but can't remember the one you are looking for.  The romance readers here are great.  I'll bet someone comes up with suggestions.

(My eyes are just "old" and I can still read a paperback... but they do much better with larger books and much, much better with large print books.)

Kadesia - no worries over the type and also there are still a few of us who appreciate a good bodice ripper!  The story to me sounds awesome.  Here are a few I could find, take a look and see if any of them ring a bell:

Scoundrel's Captive

Tomorrow's Dream

Not sure if either of those two are it or not - do you remember was it out west or down south??

I love a good Bodice Ripper too but I don't recognize that one. I wonder if there is a list of book covers that have Fabio on them.

I've read quite a few Gina Robins/Carol Finch books, and she never has the hero sleep with anyone other than the heroine.  It doesn't sound like her writing style at all.

If you can't find it, I really recommend sending your description to the ladies at Smart B****es, Trashy Books. Their "Help a B**** Out" feature usually helps a TON of people who can't remember the title of what they're looking for.

See the review here for this Connie Mason - Caress and Conquer

http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780505523433-Caress+and+Conquer

Okay, googled that title and found this review by Mrs. Giggles which tells you more, who gave it a zero.
