Great book. Started off a bit slow but turned into an exciting story.

The first in the Donavan series. Excellent research done by the author. I enjoyed the characters, as they were very real. I liked the setting and the general feeling of the book. Lots of suspense, well written.

I thought the book was a little slow. It was an okay read but not really my type of book.

A good suspenseful romance. Suspense revolves around the lost fortune of the Russian Czar's world renown Amber Room, which was new to me and rather intrigueing.
Great book with lots of twist and turns in the story and love intrest. You really enjoy the plot, find yourself wanting to read ahead and love the characters. I like the Donovan series. You won't be disappointed in this book. Lots of intrigue and adventure.
Excellent mix of detail about precious amber artifacts and suspense, with romance mixed into story line.
