The "Ship to a Friend" feature with the Gold Key membership has, for the most part, negated the need for a separate "available books" thread. Nonetheless, I have a few books that are in search of new homes; some with wishlists, some perhaps not ... any interest?

City of Promise, Beverly Swerling - Moved to FIFO

The Secrets of Mary Bowser, Lois Leveen

Redcoat, Bernard Cornwell

Murder in the North End, P.B. Ryan

Zemindar, Valerie Fitzgerald  - Moved to FIFO

To Defy a King, Elizabeth Chadwick  - Moved to FIFO

Kelly, I'd like the Cornwell if it's still available.  I'm a sucker for the time period....

I have the following which I am offering as a freebie with another book credit from my bookshelf:

Those Who SAve Us by Jenna Blum    Large Print paperback x library.  The cover is cut off at the right front top.  Otherwise in good shape.

The Serpent's Tale by Ariana Franklin   Hardback without a dust cover.  Spine is faded but otherwise in excellent condition.  It is actually postable but I don't want to get into a tiff with anyone about it.

The Bruce Trilogy by Nigel Tranter.  It is actually a postable paperback  ISBN0340371862.  I mention it here because it is pretty well read.   gone

PM me if you are interested in anything.

Vicky, I have seen that on what I can get for Kindle from my library too. They'll have all the books for a series except one random one in the middle.  Weird.  I think Jean Plaidy's Tudor saga was like that for me.

Christa, it's so frustrating.  In the case of Amelia Peabody, the fifth book has not been "Kindleized"...you can't even buy a Kindle version at Amazon.  Sometimes certain books within  a series are just no longer available electronically, for whatever reason.  I hate it when that happens!

A couple of books up for grabs if anyone's interested:

She Only Wore White, Dorthe Binkert. I will tell you honestly that this was just an "okay" book for Linda and she did not think I would be too interested in reading it. Now, take that for what it's worth ... Linda & I certainly do not have the market cornered on what books are good and what ones are not! Moving to FIFO

What Darkness Brings, C.S. Harris. Sebastian St. Cyr. Is it necessary to say anything else? heart

Let me know,

Kelly

I've got all 6 of the Dorothy Dunnett Lymond Chronicles books---any takers for all 6?

Ok, I've got a taker for books #3 and #6 if I split them up---anyone want any of the others singly?

Book #5, The Ringed Castle, is now gone as well.  Still have Queen's Play, The Game of Kings and Pawn in Frankinsense.

I've got The Widow's War by Sally Gunning; just finished it and really liked it. It's the first book, before Bound.

It's been claimed, thanks.

I have an OLD HC of Lily Cigar by Tom Murphy - copyright 1979. All pages are still intact but yellowing. Dust cover is beat up around the edges. Cleaved spine between pages 22 and 23 - in other words, what I would call unpostable, but still readable. If anyone is interested, please PM me and put notice that you are contacting me in this thread so others will know. Boy! am I optimistic that anyone will want this???? I would like one credit to cover postage since this is not a small book.....

Thank you!

Taken - thank you!
