"The information we have about Jesus cannot be learned in any one of the four Gospels by itself, but only by putting the four together. Some informatioln can be found in three of them, some in two and some in only one of the Gospels. In 'The Book of Hope' we have put together all the information in the order it happened. Nothing is repeated, not even when three different writers told about it. We have repeated only the teachings that Jesus gave on more than one occasion.

By putting all the events in Jesus' life together in the order they all took place, we can understand each character better. We can also see how all the places, dates and people fit together. Reading the life of Christ in the order it probably happened helps us to know more about Jesus as a person in history. When we see the complete picture of Jesus' life, we can understand what happened during the time periods each Gospel writer chose to leave out of his story. This way we end up with a more complete account of the life of the Lord. The Bible text in this book ends with the genealogical records of Jesus Christ, one according to Matthew and the other according to Luke.

"I don't understand. It all seems so overwhelming. It's never good enough. What's the point? What does live mean?" This book answers those questions so often posed by teens and others.
