Brad Stone (1971?... ) is an American journalist and writer. Before moving to Bloomberg [1], he was a longtime technology correspondent for The New York Times. He also worked at Newsweek. In 2003, he published his first book, Gearheads (ISBN 0-7432-2951-7), about the combat robot culture.

On August 5, 2007, Stone published a story in the Times exposing Forbes editor Daniel Lyons as "Fake Steve Jobs," the author of The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs.

Brad was a panelist on the podcast TWiT (This Week in Tech), episode 118 dated October 21, 2007.

Stone is an alumnus of the University School (1989) and Columbia University (1993). He lives in San Francisco with his wife, Jennifer Granick. Brad is a twin, and he and Granick have a set of twins as well.
