These are very cute and humorous Christmas stories. They lighten the heart, are an easy and quick read. I enjoy her stories. If you are looking for a little heavier Christmas reading, with more of a Christmas message I suggest you read Dickens or Greeley. You won't find it here. These are delightful love stories full of Christmas cheer.

Two for One by Good Ol' Debbie Macomber. Christmas Letters and Rainy Day Kisses. I am a slow reader because I like to visualize the story and Debbie does a wonderful job on details in both of these. The second Rainy Day Kisses had me laughing in many places and wanting to know what was going to happen next. These are a MUST READ!!!!

Two very cute Christmas stories (Christmas Letters and Rainy Day Kisses). Macomber doesn't go over the top with the romance. Just nice casual holiday reads.

The first story in the this book was great, funny, romantic and very well written. The second story was good, romantic, but it didn't seem like a Christmas tale to me.

I love to read Christmas stories during the holidays and I have become a big fan of secular author, Debbie Macomber. Her books are light hearted and fun... and often funny! Christmas Wishes contains two stories -- Christmas Letters and Rainy Day Kisses.

Christmas Letters is a hoot! Katherine O'Connor has a problem. Her sister and brother-in-law have fallen under the spell of child psychologist and author Wynn Jeffries, who has written a book called The Free Child. Dr. Jeffries theories have turned K.O.'s once sweet twin nieces into living terrors! K.O. wants to find Dr. Jeffries and give him a piece of her frazzled mind.

And then it happens, she spots him walking in her neighborhood and she follows him only to find him entering her building! Further investigation reveals that he actually lives in her building and has for some time. How on earth did she miss that?

What begins as a confrontation turns into a humorous adventure as K.O. allows Dr. Whren to see his theories in action.. up close and personal.. and along the way they both learn a lot about snap judgments and love.

In Rainy Day Kisses, we get to step back a few years in time and listen as MichelleDavidson tells how she brought her career minded aunt, Susannah Simmons, together with her now husband, Nate Townsend.

Susannah has no desire to be a wife or mom. She is climbing the corporate ladder two rungs at a time! Her five year goals are right on track and she is ready to start working on her ten year ones. But all that changes when she hastely agrees to babysit her infant niece, Michelle. Susannah has no idea what to do, but her new neighbor, Nate, does... and he is more than willing to help.

CHRISTMAS LETTERS is a "fine companion to a glass of eggnog." (Publishers Weekly).

Katherine O'Connor (known as K.O.) adores her five-year-old twin nieces - and strongly objects to her sister's plans to dispense with Christmas. Zelda is following the theories of child psychologist Wynn Jeffries, author of 'The Free Child' (and as it happens, K.O's neighbor). K.O. is particularly horrified by his edict to "bury Santa under the sleigh", and she's out to prove that Wynn and his ideas are full of...snow. He's not going to ruin her nieces' Christmas! Too bad the guy's so darned attractive...

RAINY DAY KISSES is a delightful romantic comedy at Christmas - or any other time of the year!

Seventeen years ago Susannah Simmons was a career girl who knew nothing about babies. But after babysitting her infant niece, Michelle, Susannah learned that one determined - and screaming - baby can make the corporate world look like...child's play. Thank goodness for her charming neighbor Nate Townsend. Now he's her charming husband, and Susannah's a mother as well as an aunt. And every Christmas Eve, Michelle tells her cousins how their Mom met their Dad - a story in which she plays a starring role!

If you like love stories without all the detailed sex and or violence you will definitely like this one. It has two stories it one book filled with humor and love. The stories are the kind you hate to see end.

Contains two delightful Christmas stories: "Christmas Letters" and "Rainy Day Kisses." Both are romantic, surprising and funny in a way that only Debbie Macomber can do. Well worth the read...regardless what season of the year it is.

I've had this book on my shelf because one of the stories, Christmas Letters, was part of the Blossom Street Series by Debbie Macomber. I've read it before but it had been so long I couldn't remember it and I am rereading the series starting from the beginning. I thought Christmas Letters was the better story of the two in this book and enjoyed the humor in it. The other story, Rainy Day Kisses was okay but I am not big on romance stories.
