any time you pick up a thomas perry book you are in for a treat. i would read them the 2nd time if i did not remember how well they heldn my interest ;

Perry continues to develope the character of Jane in this second installment of the series. Again, it was fast paced, other characters well developed, and caught you up in the story line. This series is about retribution and if that's not your cup of tea, could strike you as too violent at times.

I like the Jane Whitefield character and this book has a very good story. If you like the character you will not be disappointed
I liked the book, but some things don't seem really realistic - a little contrived.

2nd in the Jane Whitefield series.
Jane Whitefield is the kind of person I want to be/hope I could be/hope I am - and that I would hope to be in a crisis... So yep, I obviously enjoyed the book! The story once again takes us all over the place both geographically and emotionally and I knew things would work out in the end, but couldn't figure out how, so I stressed a bit towards the end. Highly recommend this book and can't wait to start reading the 3rd one!
