David Solomons (born 1965) is a British street photographer.
Solomons predominantly photographs in London, England and is a well known contemporary street photographer along with Matt Stuart, Nick Turpin and Maciej Dakowicz.
Solomons studied documentary photography in Newport in 1993. During this period he changed from primarily photographing in black and white into the colour work he is mostly known for. His first major piece of work was completed during his studies in Newport but not published for fifteen years: Underground, which explores the London Underground using artificial light and in colour.
Solomons is a member of the In-Public street photography collective, having joined in 2008. He features in their book 10 - 10 years of in-public and the corresponding exhibition at the Photofusion Gallery in London .
Solomons also features in the book Street Photography Now by Sophie Howarth and Stephen McLaren.
