I just have to say it.  141 people have been waiting their turn for that book, and it's against pbs rules to offer wl books in the threads unless you are specifically sending multiples (which we are so totally grateful for because if we didn't have a vehicle to send more multiples, many of us couldn't afford to send half the books we do send).  So, while yes, there are vehicles to send to friends & send multiples, FIFO is supposed to be the main vehicle to send books.  Happy Holidays; make someone's day & post to FIFO, please.

Julie, this specific thread was first created several years ago to offer WL books to other members and multiples have never been required, the multiples stipulation is only a feature of the Book Bazaar WL thread.

The purpose here was to be able to offer wishlist books and have people who were active members request them because many people using the FIFO system, kept on getting books time out and move on through one or more people, when they wanted to be able to post them and get credits.

Jessica did nothing wrong in offering her books here.  Yes, FIFO is the preferred method but threads like this have been allowed because FIFO is the method that most people use.  Only a very small percentage of members ever visit the forums and use these threads.

I don't know how far back the history of the forums go but try finding some WL threads from 18 months or more ago and you'll see where this issue has been raised before and the official answers that came from PBS about the thread.
