My reminder list will no longer sort according to which books are in the system. I have a thread that I marked WATCH that has a link to resort your books according to availablity. I have always used it, for months now. My reminder list is over 1400 books. I can not look at every page to find which books are in the system, it is just too time consuming. Is this feature lost forever or is it misplaced due to the neew PBS Market sort option? I really really really want this type of sort to be continue to be available. I rely on it all the time.

I was just coming here to post the same problem.  I use it all the time too.  They must have changed the web code recently with the PBS market stuff, I'm guessing.

Would love to get it back....

I also thought that sorting the available books first within the reminder list was extremely helpful (and also helps to get more books moving through the PBS system, I would imagine.)  I love the new PBS market feature!  I hope that helps PBS out tons.,.. but I'd also like the reminder list to have the old sorting system back.  OR if you wanted to sort the books available in the PBS market and THEN all the books available in the system, that would be fine too (or an option for each would be great too).

I would also like the ability to see the books in the system at the top again too :)

Same here. I also had a thread marked 'watch' so I could find the link to sort available books to the top. I've just tried it and it doesn't work now.

I have over a thousand books on reminder (meaning, I may or may not at some point want to order them) and if I can't see what's available - yesterday it was showing about 45-50 available - it's pretty much useless. I hope this 'glitch' is just temporary.

Added: I just realized that books in my reminder list are also marked if available at the market (in the same way as wishlist books are), but it doesn't appear that I can sort to find all of them either...  and I really don't want to know bad enough to scroll through 22 screens (of 50 books each) to find them.  ;-)

Another update: Okay, I see that I can sort by books in the market.

Adding my voice to all of yours. As for you, this change (please, let it be temporary), renders my reminder list useless.

But, yeah, PBS Market seems like a great way for the site to make $, so keeping the old feature along with the new will be great.

Adding my voice to the list, in case TPTB are watching how many of us want this sorting feature to return!

Ooo, they must've just done this within the last day or so....I liked it better the old way, too!

I would like it back to the way it was. I usually don't have the time to sort through 15 +  pages to see what is in the system.

Glad I'm not the only one that misses the old way.

add me to the list of members who sort reminder books by availability...

I would like to be able to sort that way again, especially since you cannot do a <ctrl+F> to check for availability.

I liked it better the old way too.  I have several WLd books lthat I haven't posted (for various reasons), and I could keep track of them when they were at the end of the list much better.  Pat

Wait it was sortable that way? Mine just did that automatically. I remember it got screwed up once and someone ... Sherry I think, gave me a link to click on that fixed it. I have no clue where the link is though.

ETA I think this is the right one http://www.paperbackswap.com/members/my_lists/reminder_list.php?sby=avail&oby=

I am very annoyed that I can no longer sort by available. Why would I want to page through all 6 pages of my reminder list? I looked at my reminder list almost every day, because sometimes I was waiting to order something. This will just make me have to go back to post-its. SIGH.

Add me to the chorus that want sort by availablity back; I don't mind if they put PBS marketplace books in the mix that qualify as "available", but please, give us back a way to have all available books sorted to the top!

I remember that there was a trick to get it to sort by available.  As I had once unsorted it and had problems setting it back.  Has it gone to the default unsorted?  Or lost the ability?

Here is the old thread of how to sort by available.  It doesn't seem to reset the default anymore.

The ability to sort by availability seems to be completely gone. None of the "links" seem to perform that function anymore. With 30 something pages of reminders, I can not find anything I want to order with any kind of simplicity or timeliness. It is a disaster for me!

I miss it too!! I use it to order lots of books.  I use it many times a day when I check my account to see what others might have posted that I want.

I miss it, and my RL isn't even that long! It was much easier to see which books can be ordered and which (if I want them badly enough) should be put on my WL.

Add me to the chorus of "We want this back!"!!! My reminder list is an extension of my wishlist and the books on there are all "currently unavailable". I wasn't even aware of this problem until I saw this thread, checked my reminder pages (all 16 of them) and sure enough, there were 2 books I had been waiting for!

Please restore this feature! I check my reminder list several times a day to see if anything has popped up as available and now that is not a quick thing to do!

Yeah, mine is now screwed up as well. Really, it's going to be cheaper to use my credits on books in the system rather than buy them new through Amazon or the new PBS book site.

I don't mind having those buttons for when the system has no copies, but I should be able to find the club copies first.
